Is your child finding life difficult? Maybe they feel anxious, find it hard to fit in or their confidence or self-esteem is low. Perhaps something has happened that has left your child feeling overwhelmed by their emotions and struggling to cope or maybe being in school is really hard for your child.
COUNSELLING CAN TRANSFORM LIVES
I work with children (age 5+), teens and young adults.
Appointments can be face to face (in my private therapy room between Saffron Walden and Bishops Stortford) or Online using Zoom.
As a qualified and experienced children’s counsellor, I can help your child begin to feel better, develop resilience and boost self-esteem.
I have worked in primary and secondary schools in the state and independent sector as well as in a boarding school and a special school for social, emotional and mental health needs. I’ve also worked with Place2Be. All sorts of issues have come up in my work including anxiety, stress, low mood, bullying, bereavement, family and relationship issues, friendship problems, ASD issues, trauma, abuse, domestic violence, alcohol issues, loss, addictions, self-harm, eating disorders and teen pregnancy.
I offer a variety of approaches including person-centred counselling, CBT and solution focused techniques.
Please don’t hesitate to give me a call to see if I can help.

My focus will be on helping your child feel safe, relaxed and supported in a professional and trusting relationship.
My therapy room is a warm, welcoming and private space.
Sometimes, it is hard to find the words to say exactly how we feel. I am trained to work with play and creative materials to help children and young people show and explore meaning. My room is equipped with a wide range of play and art materials, objects and sensory materials – all of which are safe and suitable for all ages.
